Survey Work Continues

Great River’s surveyors are continuing to work in the field collecting information necessary for the design of the project.  We are currently focusing our efforts in the areas surrounding Summit Ridge Drive and Baker Avenue.

We’ve had several property owners ask what the wooden lathes with survey flagging represent.  If you see a lathe with pink flagging, it represents a survey pin or property corner marker that we have found while surveying the area.  A lathe with orange flagging represents a control point that our surveyors use when setting up their equipment.  Alignments for the proposed sewer mains will be represented by green flagging; however, no alignments have been staked out in the field at this time.
