Project Description

The Powersite North Sanitary Sewer Improvements project is proposed to serve approximately 385 existing commercial and residential structures within and neighboring the Valley View Village and Powersite Subdivisions located approximately one mile southeast of Forsyth, Missouri.  The project's watershed covers approximately 900 acres and is surrounded by Bull Shoals Lake, State Highway 76, and Silver Creek Road.

The project owner is the Taney County Regional Sewer District.  Great River Associates has been retained by the District to plan and design the project and to provide engineering services during construction.

The purpose of this project is to provide the area with a centralized sanitary sewer collection system in order to protect lake water quality by the removal of private treatment systems and residential septic tank/drain field systems.  The proposed collection system consists of  nearly 70,000 linear feet of new gravity sewer lines and force mains and associated lift stations.
